Promotion Of Office    
Scope The status Of A Parochial Reader Is That Of Assistant To The Incumbent Of The Parish To Which he Is Licensed. He Has A Share In The Life And Work Of The Parish.  
The Reader's Spiritual Life Reader Should Be Nominated By Laymen As Well As Incumbent  
Uniform   Cassock, Surplice, Badge Of Office And Hood Of Degree
